Meet the Instructors
Alicia has led Yoga classes in individual and group settings, based on individual needs, age, and ability level both for children and adults. The atmosphere she provides is respectful, positive, encouraging, and team-work oriented. She guides students through modeling, verbal and hands-on cues to move into a system of poses in order to stretch and strengthen the students’ bodies. This system of exercises consists of slow and intentional body movements connected with deep breathing. The result of these techniques will provide proper and safe performance for each individual. She believes that by focusing on our internal, both physical and mental, growth we will be able to evolve, grow stronger, learn, share, and become better providers for ourselves and others in the community.

Juliana Garcell has extensively studied the traditions of the higher path including Yoga , Native traditions, and Yoruba. She was certified in Egyptian Yoga also known as Kemetic yoga 8 years ago, then went on to become certified in power vinyasa. She has been called to awaken the sacred feminine power through her singing and meditations. Her studies in religion, astrology, yoga, ayurvedic medicine, breathing techniques and meditation have allowed her to discover occult wisdom within all of life forms, which brings a deep feminine intuition, as well as a balance into the classes. Her indigenous name, Yasa, was given to her by the leader of a tribe in the amazon Vicente, in the village of Sao Vicente on the river Humaita, Brazil. Yasa means family, and unity. It also represents the spreading of a seed, like the spreading of this new consciousness through these sacred practices.
